Condition:	Very Good to Excellent folded. Pinhole at each corner and middle of side borders, bottom edge was folded back about an inch at one time, 2 repaired tears at bottom of vertical fold, top edge a little grimy in places (perhaps rather aptly!). Title written twice on back along with a few stains but no impact on front. This is an original vintage cinema collectible. Picture is of actual item being sold. Having been mauled by the critics in the UK, the film received limited distribution in the US, where it was marketed from a low budget exploitation angle, as can be seen with this scarce poster. Later Martin Scorsese recognized its merits and rescued it from obscurity. Now of course it's considered a classic of British cinema and has earned its place in the pantheon of Michael Powell's finest works.
