Hot on the heels of Star Wars, Roger Corman, King of the B-Movies, cashed in with his own low budget variation based on the Seven Samurai. As with many Corman productions, though, the film served as a fertile training ground for several major new talents, including John Sayles, James Horner, Gale Anne Hurd and James Cameron, which helped raise it above its modest origins. Great sci-fi artwork. |
