| For some reason Burt Reynolds fell from public favour in more recent times, but here he shows he could do an excellent job playing a tormented cop with the luminous Catherine Deneuve as his hooker girlfriend. The 70s was a great decade for gritty neo-noirs and this is one that deserves to be better known. | |
